Ag Science

 Teacher: Daxton Fairchild

Diversified Agriculture- in this program we currently offer Principles of Agriscience, for the prerequisite course for first year students. After completion of Principles, students will take the Animals and/or Plants Core classes. We are looking to possibly offer Ag Mechanics as a course of its own in the near future. In our program now, we are helping to take care of the landscaping around campus and managing our greenhouse. We will also be working with animals more in the spring from raising chickens and rabbits to possibly working with goats/calves. Carpentry, mechanics, and metalworking is another set of skill sets that we work on when we have shop time regardless of the course being offered. We have many goals and visions we are working towards in getting the Ag program re-established.
